MultiCenter Physical Therapy Center

Greg Santema, PT, will be in Niger, Africa from January 16 to February 5, 2010.

This is Greg’s sixth trip to provide physical therapy in Niger and his second trip bringing professors and students from the University of Minnesota Program in Physical Therapy. Three professors and three students will provide classes and treatment demonstrations to medical students at the University Abdou Moumouni in Niamey. After the first week together, the team will split up, some staying at the university to teach, one team member teaching about and and treating as a wound care specialist, and several others going to a leprosy clinic and rural hospital in Danja.
